Frequently Asked Questions

The following responses are provided for general orientation. They are interpretive and descriptive in character and do not modify, supersede, or supplement the Terms of Engagement or the Privacy Directive.

Does IHCCS Global provide legal or tax advice?
No. IHCCS Global administers structural documentation architecture only. The Entity does not render legal, tax, actuarial, or investment advice, does not adjudicate disputes, and does not substitute for the counsel of qualified professional advisors retained separately by the enterprise. Where such counsel is separately obtained, the reconciliation lattice provides the architecture within which its work product may be recorded, versioned, and cross-referenced — but the substance of any determination remains, in every case, the responsibility of the party rendering it.
How are reconciliation intervals determined?
Reconciliation intervals are established on a per-engagement basis during the intake and scoping sequence and are periodically revisited by the Cadence & Interval Committee. As set out at length in the Methodology, an interval is well-chosen if and only if the accrued readiness degradation immediately prior to the next reconciliation act remains above the defensibility threshold; where it does not, the interval is shortened, and where the accrued degradation is consistently negligible, the interval may be lengthened in the interest of throughput conservation.
How long is submitted intake data retained?
In accordance with the retention windows enumerated in the Privacy Directive, submitted data matrices are held for a baseline fiscal evaluation cycle of twenty-four (24) calendar months, after which they are slated for automated digital shredding and purging routines. Retention windows are subject to extension only where required under concurrent statutory records-retention mandates.
What distinguishes readiness from reconciliation?
Reconciliation is an act; readiness is a state. The act of reconciliation, performed at an interval, produces and then progressively degrades the state of readiness, much as the act of winding a mechanical timepiece produces and then progressively degrades the state of being wound. The continuous lifecycle model exists precisely to select intervals such that this degradation never carries the documentation architecture below the threshold of defensibility.
Is IHCCS Global affiliated with any governmental agency?
No. References to statutory frameworks throughout our published materials are descriptive of the documentation domains within which the Entity maintains structural alignment lattices. Such references do not imply, and should not be construed as implying, endorsement, affiliation, certification, or accreditation by any governmental body or agency.
What occurs after an intake submission is received?
Inbound submissions are reviewed by the Intake & Scoping Committee, which draws a preliminary reconciliation perimeter and assigns an engagement reference designation. The submitting agent is not thereby entered into any engagement; the review is a preparatory step only, and no obligation arises on either part until an engagement is separately constituted under the Terms of Engagement.
